Role Purpose
The Vehicle Service & Yard Attendant plays a vital role in supporting Hertz’s daily car rental operations. This position focuses on vehicle preparation, fleet movement, yard organization, and customer assistance. Through consistent effort and teamwork, attendants help ensure that vehicles remain safe, clean, and ready for customer use at all times.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves preparing vehicles at the service centre, including cleaning, inspecting, and ensuring road readiness. Additionally, attendants manage ski season equipment by fitting and removing roof racks and maintaining chain supplies. Staff also drive shuttle buses, move vehicles between locations, assist customers when required, and support management with yard coordination, damage processing, storage, and non-revenue movements.
