Job Overview
Best Western is currently hiring Housekeepers for its hotel located at 1041 SW Marine Drive in Vancouver. The employer is offering two full-time permanent positions with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. Successful candidates are expected to start work as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning and Maintenance
Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning guest rooms thoroughly. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors to maintain a tidy and hygienic environment. Workers also dust furniture, clean surfaces, and ensure rooms remain organized and welcoming.
Carpet and Upholstery Care
Employees vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain cleanliness throughout the rooms and hotel areas.
Bed and Linen Management
Housekeepers make beds, change sheets, and ensure all linens remain clean and properly arranged. Staff members also distribute fresh towels and toiletries to ensure guest comfort.
Linen and Laundry Duties
Workers stock linen closets and handle laundry tasks such as washing clothing and household linens. Proper organization of clean linen helps maintain smooth housekeeping operations.
Bathroom and Kitchen Cleaning
Employees clean, disinfect, and polish fixtures and appliances in bathrooms and kitchens. Maintaining sanitary conditions in these areas is essential for guest safety and satisfaction.
Guest Assistance
Housekeepers respond to guest requests for additional supplies such as towels, toiletries, or other items. Providing prompt and friendly service helps improve the overall guest experience.
Waste Removal and General Cleaning
Staff members pick up debris, empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping duties throughout the hotel. Workers may also wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain the property’s appearance.
Lost and Found Handling
Employees carefully handle and report any lost or found items according to hotel procedures.
Education and Training
Applicants must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. However, previous housekeeping experience is not required because the employer is willing to provide training for suitable candidates.
