Sabine Atallah is hiring a full-time Nanny to work in Pierrefonds, Quebec, from April 1, 2026, to April 1, 2028. Work Location and Environment

The nanny will work on-site in the employer’s home in an urban area of Pierrefonds, QC. The household maintains a non-smoking and scent-free environment to promote comfort and health. Although the employer offers optional live-in accommodation at no charge, employment does not require live-in status. Public transportation is available for commuting.

Role Purpose

The nanny will provide dedicated childcare while ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and development. In addition, the role requires maintaining household organization and supporting daily routines when parents are present or absent. Therefore, the position demands responsibility, attentiveness, and consistent care.

Childcare Responsibilities

The nanny will supervise and care for children daily while supporting their emotional and social development. Duties include bathing, dressing, feeding, changing diapers, sterilizing bottles, preparing formulas, and organizing rest periods. Furthermore, the nanny will instruct children in personal hygiene, organize games and outings, take children to school and appointments, and discipline them according to parental guidelines.

Household Duties

The role includes performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized home. The nanny will prepare and serve nutritious meals, cook as needed, wash and press clothing and household linens, and shop for food and supplies. Additionally, the nanny may assume full responsibility for the household in the parents’ absence and travel with the family when required.

Health, Safety, and Documentation

The nanny must maintain a safe and healthy environment at all times. The role requires keeping accurate records of daily activities and children’s health information. Moreover, the employer requires completion of a Child Abuse Registry check, child welfare check, criminal record check, drug test, medical exam, reference verification, and basic security clearance.

Credentials and Qualifications

Applicants must hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and possess one to less than two years of relevant childcare experience. A valid First Aid Certificate is also required. Candidates must communicate effectively in English or French and demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.

Physical Requirements

The role involves physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs), handling repetitive duties, and working under pressure when necessary. Since childcare requires constant movement, candidates must feel comfortable standing, walking, and actively engaging throughout the day.
