Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Construction Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of general labour and support tasks essential to the successful completion of construction projects. Duties include, but are not limited to:
General Labour Duties

- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt according to project specifications
Equipment and Safety Operations
- Performing pre-operational inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Using hand tools and basic construction equipment safely and effectively
- Following all workplace safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintenance and Cleanup
- Cleaning and piling salvaged materials for reuse or disposal
- Performing routine maintenance tasks around the construction site
- Removing rubble, debris, and waste materials to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Traffic and Site Control
- Directing traffic at or near construction sites when required to ensure public and worker safety
- Assisting with the placement of signs, cones, and barriers
