Job Location

Employment Type and Hours
The company offers permanent, full-time employment from Monday to Friday. In addition, the role typically involves 40 to 45 working hours per week, therefore providing consistent income and long-term job stability.
Core Driving and Crane Duties
The successful candidate operates a Class 4 truck and Hiab truck-mounted crane safely and efficiently. Moreover, the role includes loading, transporting, unloading, and accurately positioning structural steel materials at various sites while following approved lifting procedures.
Structural Steel Rigging Responsibilities
In addition to driving duties, the role involves on-site structural steel erection in line with project drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Furthermore, the worker performs proper rigging, crane signalling, load securing, and precise height and level setting, which ensures safe and accurate installation.
Equipment and Tools Operation
The position requires confident operation of forklifts, telehandlers, and other site machinery as needed. Meanwhile, the role also involves using power tools and specialized equipment such as grinders, mag drills, dyna drills, hydraulic tools, and welding equipment to complete site tasks efficiently.
Communication and Team Coordination
Strong communication plays a vital role in daily operations. Therefore, the worker maintains clear interaction with site crews, crane operators, supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must hold a clean and current Class 4 Driver Licence along with Hiab/Crane Unit Standard 16617 certification. Additionally, candidates should bring a minimum of three years’ experience in structural steel site rigging or erection, therefore ensuring technical competence and confidence on site.
Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong knowledge of rigging practices, crane signals, and steel construction methods. Furthermore, experience in loading and unloading steel and familiarity with the steel construction industry significantly strengthen suitability for the role.
Additional Certifications
While not mandatory, a valid Forklift Certificate serves as a strong advantage. Consequently, candidates with multiple tickets increase their versatility and value within the team.
