Join the Team at Jindalee Aged Care Residence

A Fresh Start in Canberra’s Leafy Suburbs

Are you looking for a rewarding career with an experienced and supportive aged care operator? Jindalee Aged Care Residence, located in the beautiful, leafy suburb of Narrabundah, Canberra, is inviting dedicated professionals to join our housekeeping team. We pride ourselves on being a modern home with a management team that truly values its staff. Whether you are looking for a Permanent Part-Time (PPT) role or Casual flexibility, we have a place for you.

The Role: More Than Just Cleaning

In an aged care setting, a cleaner is a vital part of the clinical care team. Your work directly impacts the health, safety, and happiness of our residents. This is a role that requires compassion, respect for the elderly, and an eye for detail. You will be working in a modern facility where cleanliness is a top priority to prevent infections and provide a “home-like” feel for those who live here.

Unlike standard commercial cleaning, working in aged care requires a sensitive touch. You aren’t just cleaning floors; you are entering a resident’s home. A warm smile and a polite “hello” can make a resident’s day. We value candidates who understand that they are part of a community that looks after the most vulnerable members of our society.
