2. Your Role: Precision and Production

In this varied role, you will play a key part in the assembly and fabrication process. While we provide full training, you will hit the ground running by supporting several key production areas.

Fabrication and Preparation

The foundation of our products lies in the quality of the metalwork. You will:

  • Prepare Materials: You will cut and prepare various metals according to specific measurements.
  • Metal Fabrication: You will assist in fabricating frames and components that form the skeleton of our transport interior solutions.
  • Read Drawings: You will interpret basic technical drawings and instructions to ensure every piece is built to exact specifications.

Assembly and Power Tools

Once the parts are ready, the assembly phase begins. You will:

  • Use Industrial Tools: You will regularly operate a variety of hand, power, and air tools to join components.
  • Assemble Products: You will follow a systematic process to build finished products, ensuring every joint and fastening meets our high-quality standards.
  • Quality Control: You will inspect your own work to maintain the “high standard” of production our clients expect.

Production Support

As a General Hand, you are the engine room of the factory. You will:

  • Collaborate Across Teams: You will provide hands-on support to different departments when production surges occur.
  • Maintain WHS Standards: You will strictly follow all Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies to ensure you and your teammates return home safely every day.

3. About You: The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude and a mechanical mindset. You should possess:

  • Manufacturing Experience: You have recent experience working in a factory or production environment.
  • Tool Proficiency: You are comfortable and safe using power tools and air tools.
  • Detail-Oriented: You can read instructions carefully and take pride in the “finish” of your work.
  • Team Player: You are willing to learn new skills and jump into different areas of the factory as needed.
  • Reliability: You are available for an immediate start and can commit to a consistent 4-day roster.

4. Why This Role is the Right Move

This isn’t just a casual job; it’s an opportunity to work with the best in the business.

  • Work-Life Balance: The 4-day work week is a rare find in manufacturing, giving you 52 extra days off per year compared to a 5-day roster.
  • Modern Facilities: Our Broadmeadows site is a clean, organized, and technologically advanced factory.
  • Career Growth: We provide full training, making this a great place to refine your skills in metal fabrication and assembly.
  • Strong Pay: A rate of $34.50/hr ensures your hard work is well-compensated.
