2. Your Role: The Art and Science of Mussel Processing
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. You will master several key stations on the production line to ensure a smooth and high-quality output.
Expert Mussel Opening
This is where the process begins. You will:
- Maximize Yield: Expertly open mussels with precision to ensure minimal waste and maximum product recovery.
- Speed and Safety: Maintain a high pace while adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure the product is ready for the next stage of processing.
Grading and Quality Control
We only send the best to our customers. You will:
- Careful Selection: Sort and grade mussels based on size, quality, and specific customer requirements.
- Identify Defects: Use your keen eye to spot irregularities or defects, ensuring every mussel meets the Sanford gold standard.
Precision Packing and Labeling
The final presentation is key. You will:
- Efficient Packing: Pack mussel products accurately, ensuring correct portioning and presentation.
