About the Role
Role Purpose
As a Factory Cleaner working night shift, you will take responsibility for maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards across the entire Leeton factory. You will clean and sanitise production areas during non-production hours to ensure the facility meets safety, food quality, and operational requirements.
This role plays a critical part in supporting production efficiency, food safety, and workplace wellbeing.
Work Schedule
You will work night shifts, cleaning production lines and factory areas when operations are not running.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Production Area Cleaning
You will clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, and production lines in accordance with hygiene and safety standards. This includes washing production bins and associated equipment thoroughly.
General Cleaning Tasks
You will vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitise factory floors and surfaces. You will disinfect common areas to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Windows and Glass Cleaning
You will clean windows and glass surfaces as required to maintain visibility, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
Chemical Handling and Safety
You will handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly, following all safety data sheets, procedures, and training requirements.
Office and Amenities Maintenance
You will clean and maintain offices, amenities, bathrooms, and break rooms to ensure hygienic and comfortable staff facilities.
Waste Management
You will remove general waste and recycling bins regularly and dispose of waste according to site procedures.
Additional Duties
You will complete any other general cleaning tasks as directed by supervisors to support factory operations.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Criteria
Safety and Compliance
You must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and understand safe cleaning practices in an industrial environment.
Experience and Skills
You should have prior experience in cleaning roles, ideally within industrial, factory, or commercial environments. Strong attention to detail is essential.
Personal Attributes
You must maintain a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic. You should be able to work independently and take pride in maintaining high standards.
Shift and Physical Requirements
You must be willing and able to work night shifts. You must also be capable of working at heights and be willing to obtain a Working at Heights or EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket if required.
Desirable Experience
Industry Experience
Previous experience working in a food processing or food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

About Our Operations
Agricultural and Processing Activities
Stahmann Webster operates across multiple regions in Australia. We grow walnuts, almonds, and bees in the Riverina region of NSW; pecans in Moree; and macadamias, avocados, and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.
Processing and Support Functions
We operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba, and Bundaberg, along with fruit packing and processing facilities in Bundaberg. Our shared services teams, including Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety, and People & Culture, operate across multiple sites and offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Griffith.
