About the Role
Role Purpose
As a Front of House Team Member, your primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer service by putting customers first and ensuring every guest enjoys a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
You will greet customers warmly and deliver exceptional service with every interaction. You will create a welcoming, fun, and positive atmosphere in all Ferg Group stores.
Queue and Order Management
You will manage queues efficiently during busy periods, take customer orders accurately, and ensure smooth service flow at all times.
Food and Beverage Service
You will deliver food and beverage items promptly while maintaining presentation standards. You will respond to customer requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Food Preparation and Handling
You will perform basic food handling tasks and prepare coffees, juices, and smoothies according to quality standards and the Food Control Plan.
Food Display and Cleanliness
You will display food items attractively and keep cabinets clean, organised, and well-presented throughout your shift.
Health and Safety Compliance
You will follow all food safety, health, and safety policies and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for customers and staff.
Team Collaboration
You will work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent service delivery.
Skills and Requirements
Availability
You must be available to work a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays. You must be able to work full-time hours.
Customer Service Skills
You should have strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience in food service or front-of-house roles is an advantage but not essential.
Personal Attributes
You must demonstrate a friendly, positive, and can-do attitude. Reliability, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Physical Requirements
You must be physically capable of standing for long periods and handling the demands of a busy service environment.
